Asian Small-clawed Otter
Cuteness Isn’t the Only Thing About Them
Nearly all of the 13 species of otters around the world are listed as an endangered species. The Asian small-clawed otter inhabits the waters between southern China and southern India. They have small claws, as their name states, with webs between their figures, which makes them excellent swimmers. They are very lively and curious creatures. While they are very cute in appearance, they are actually carnivores with very sharp canine teeth for eating fish, crustaceans, and amphibians.
