A Bountiful Variety of Over 100 Species!

A representation of the coral reefs of Amami Oshima. Of the over 100 creatures, the giant grouper will surely catch your eye. Bluestreak cleaner wrasse, a small parasite eating fish, can be seen cleaning the skin of the grouper and on occasion, even going inside the mouth to clean, as well. There are many fish with unique names, such as the manybar goatfish with its charming beard and the nap loving whitetip reef shark. Take notice that vegetables are used as food for the fish.
