Cape Penguin <br />The black and white plumage of penguins serves as camouflage in the water. When predators in the water look up, the white of their bellies blends in with the brightness of the sky, and conversely, when predators from above look down, the black of their backs blends in with the darkness of the deep sea, making them difficult to spot.
