Otters at the Water's Edge

16_01.jpg
On land, otters leisurely nap, play with their companions, and generally live a carefree life. However, once they enter the water, they transform into swift hunters, swiftly stalking their prey. With strong family bonds, they form groups and nurture life in these waterside areas. Here, you can catch a glimpse of their way of life.

Small-clawed otter <br />This is the smallest species of otter, measuring 40-60 cm in length and weighing 3-6 kg. They live near rivers and lakes, as well as in swamps and wetlands. They have very strong mating bonds and live in family groups of 10-15 individuals. As their name suggests (small claws), they have very small claws on their fingertips and webbing between their toes.
