Sunshine Aquarium is based on the concept of being an "oasis in the sky."
While maintaining the appeal of aquariums to people of all ages, from children to adults, by showcasing the diverse lives of various creatures and providing entertainment as an amusement facility, this aquarium offers a unique space for "healing," "peace," "relaxation," and "discoveries that move the heart," making it an aquarium that "adults can also enjoy."

Flying sea lion "Aqua Ring"

With the city's blue sky and the Sunshine 60 building as a backdrop, sea lions swim playfully above people's heads, appearing as if they are flying. Here you can see the scene when the sea lions, full of curiosity, approach from underwater and look down at the divers. At "Sea Lions' Beach," on sunny days you can enjoy watching the sea lions lounging around, covered in sand, and leisurely sunbathing.

A "water mass" that gives the impression of being underwater.

On the first floor of the aquarium's interior, you'll find the "Sunshine Lagoon Tank," where a wide variety of tropical fish dance on a surface of white sand. You can also enjoy underwater performances where spotted eagle rays swim gracefully and tiger sharks with their endearing faces swim with divers. In addition, there is a jellyfish tunnel where you can enjoy the calming world of jellyfish, and a tank where corals bloom beautifully in an underwater cave.

On the second floor of the aquarium, a freshwater zone unfolds, showcasing a beautiful contrast between the blue of the water and the green of the plants. As you ascend the stairs, you'll find aquariums filled with lush green aquatic plants, an African tank with a realistic underwater feel where colorful fish leap amidst the vibrant green of the plants, and a tank where you can observe poison dart frogs, as vividly colored as jewels, hidden amongst the beautiful plants. You can enjoy a different atmosphere from the first floor.
