Infertility Pair Testing Subsidy Program
We will subsidize a portion of the infertility testing costs that are not covered by medical insurance. The application deadline is within the fiscal year in which the testing is completed (if the testing continues into the next fiscal year, the application deadline is within the fiscal year in which the final testing date is completed).
Subsidy for infertility testing costs
Among the infertility tests publicly announced as advanced medical treatments, we will subsidize part of the cost of abortion and stillbirth chorionic villus and fetal tissue chromosome tests using next-generation sequencers. The application deadline is within the fiscal year in which the test is completed or within three months of the test date, whichever is later.
Infertility treatment support project
Once per fiscal year, we will subsidize part of the cost of infertility testing and treatment that is not covered by medical insurance. The application deadline is within the fiscal year in which the testing and treatment date falls, or within three months from the last day of the testing and treatment period, whichever is later.
Cancer Patient Appearance Support Project
This subsidy covers the cost of purchasing medical wigs and breast correction devices for people who have been diagnosed with cancer and have undergone or are currently undergoing treatment, to reduce anxiety about changes in appearance due to hair loss or mastectomy caused by cancer treatment. Application deadlines vary depending on the date of purchase.

On Thursday, February 20th from 10:00 a.m. to noon, the Education and Disability Welfare Center will be holding an information session for parents who are concerned about their child's elementary school enrollment due to developmental characteristics or disability status.

From February 15th to 24th, 10am to 4pm, the exhibition facility at Kamisakabe Nishi Park will be hosting an exhibition of winning works from a photo contest taken at the Mukogawa Higenowatashi Cosmos Garden. The works on display are from 2019 to this year.

The spring fire prevention campaign will be held from March 1st to 7th. Please keep in mind the "Four Habits" and "Six Countermeasures" to prevent fires.
◆ Four Habits
▷Never smoke in bed, and do not allow others to smoke in bed ▷Do not place flammable items around the stove ▷Do not leave the fire unattended when using the stove ▷Clean the dust from electrical outlets and unplug unnecessary plugs
◆ Six measures
▷Use stoves and other appliances with safety devices. ▷Check residential fire alarms regularly and replace them every 10 years. ▷Keep rooms tidy and use fireproof bedding, curtains, etc. ▷Install fire extinguishers and make sure they are used properly. ▷Always ensure that evacuation routes and methods are clear for elderly and physically disabled people. ▷Take community-wide fire prevention measures by participating in drills and visiting people at their homes.

▷ Collection of empty disposable contact lens cases

We have signed an agreement with HOYA Eye Care Company to collect empty disposable contact lens cases. Cases with the aluminum seal still attached or contact lenses still in them cannot be collected.
Locations of collection boxes and collection bottles
1st floor of the City Hall South Building, 9th floor of the Central Building, Otakasu Building, various Lifelong Learning Plazas, Hitosaki Tower, Child Development Support Center, and Youth Exchange Center.
Plastic bottle caps are also being collected
We are collecting plastic bottle caps at City Hall and various lifelong learning plazas, so please cooperate.
▷ How to dispose of small rechargeable batteries and spray cans

Accidents involving small rechargeable batteries catching fire in garbage collection trucks and waste disposal facilities have occurred nationwide. To prevent fires, please be careful when disposing of small rechargeable batteries and spray cans.
If the battery cannot be removed, the item is swollen, there is no recycle mark, or the contents of the spray can cannot be completely removed, please contact the Household Waste Information Center (☎️ 6 3 7 4 – 9 9 9 9). Items used at business premises should be disposed of as industrial waste (inquiries: Industrial Waste Countermeasures Division, ☎️ 6 4 8 9 – 6 3 1 0).
Items that require special attention when disposing of
◆ Handy fans (small portable electric fans). Please remove the small rechargeable battery and place it in a recycling box at an electronics store. If the device is between 20cm and 50cm in size, dispose of it as small metal waste. If it is less than 20cm, dispose of it as burnable waste.
◆ Clothing with air conditioning functions. Please remove the small rechargeable batteries and place them in a recycling bin at an electronics store. Dispose of the clothing and air conditioning fan as burnable garbage.
◆ Portable oxygen spray cans. Empty the contents, place them in a designated bag, attach a note saying "spray can," and throw them away on the day for small metal waste.
▷ Filing of individual municipal and prefectural taxes for determining the deficiency payment related to the fixed tax reduction

In order to determine whether or not you will receive the shortfall benefit related to the fixed tax reduction scheduled to be paid in fiscal year 2025, if you are not required to file individual municipal or prefectural tax returns or final tax returns and meet the following requirements, you are requested to file individual municipal or prefectural tax returns.
Eligible: People who have had a fixed tax reduction applied to their individual municipal and prefectural taxes for fiscal year 2024, and whose income information for 2024 has not been received by Amagasaki City. Those who file tax returns for 2024 or those who received a salary or public pension in 2024 do not need to file a tax return, as their income information (payment report) will be received by the city. However, even if you received a salary, if you retired in 2024 and your total salary for that year was less than 300,000 yen, or if your salary payer has not submitted a payment report to Amagasaki City, you are required to file a tax return. Please note that filing a tax return does not necessarily mean that you will be eligible for the benefit.
▷ Deadline for catch-up vaccination of human papillomavirus infection vaccine extended to March 31 next year

For people who have received at least one dose of the HPV vaccine between April 1, 2022 and March 31, 2025, but have not completed three doses, the deadline for receiving the remaining free vaccinations will be extended until March 31 next year.

Piccolo Yose "Rakugo performance for children to enjoy"
On Saturday, March 8th, from 2pm to 4pm, at the Piccolo Theater, there will be rakugo and commentary by Katsura Yoshiya and others.
