Ni-no-maru (Second Bailey)
This enclosure located north of the Honmaru (main bailey), was the site of the castle lord’ s living quarters. During the Edo Period (1603-1868) a palace consisting of various sized structures including the lord’ s residence and administrative offices were constructed across this area.
