Sojiji Head Monastery
The head monastery of Soto Zen Buddhism. In 2005, 16 buildings such as Butsuden (Buddha hall) were designated as Registered Tangible Cultural Properties. Many historical figures such as Soichiro Asano, called the father of the Keihin Industrial Zone, and renowned Showa-era actor Yujiro Ishihara have been laid to rest in the graveyard here.
