❶Lake Towada - The "Mysterious Lake"
A double caldera lake formed by volcanic activity.
Located amidst vestiges of the legend of Nansobo and Hachinotaro, the area is shrouded in an air of mystery.
Towada Shrine, a power spot, and the Statue of the Maidens are located here, and activities such as sightseeing boats and canoe tours are also popular.
❷Oirase Gorge (Special Place of Scenic Beauty and Natural Monument)
The Oirase River is the only river that flows out of Lake Towada. The Oirase Gorge is a roughly 14-kilometer stretch of the Oirase River which begins at Nenokuchi ends at Yakeyama.
Designated as a National Special Place of Scenic Beauty and National Natural Monument, as well as a national park, the abundant nature of Oirase Gorge is carefully protected.The area offers a variety of seasonal changes, including the fresh greenery of spring, the colorful autumn leaves, and the impressive frozen waterfalls of winter.
❸Oirase Field Museum Gate - A base for exploring the mountain stream
Located at the entrance of the gorge, this is a base facility for exploring the area, with explanatory displays on the origin of the gorge, and the local flora and fauna. Visit it before exploring the gorge to make for an even more interesting hike.
There is also a guide counter, a small shop selling local products, and a café area.
❹Roadside Station Oirase "Oirase Roman Park"
Situated over a large area with a relaxing water park and grassy plaza, you can enjoy nature in a relaxed atmosphere while admiring the beautiful scenery.
There is also a craft beer restaurant where you can enjoy local beer and foods, a souvenir store selling local products, and more.

❺Towada Equestrian Park "Komakko Land"
Towada City has long prospered as a center of Nanbu Koma (Nanbu wood-carved horses) production.
There is a direct sales produce corner selling local agricultural and livestock products and processed goods, as well as a specialty products corner.
❻Handcraft Village "Risokyo"
Featuring a centerpiece iris garden, these gardens abound with seasonal blooms and are a place where visitors can experience the wonders of nature and food with all five senses.
Visitors can enjoy meals, and a variety of activities such as making local cuisine and observing fireflies while feeling a deep connection with nature.
❼Towada Art Center
The Towada Art Center exhibits works by internationally renowned contemporary artists and is the central pillar of the Arts Towada Project, which transforms the main thoroughfare of Kanchogai Avenue into an outdoor museum with various artworks spread across the city. Complete with a museum shop and café, the Towada Art Center makes for a perfect stop while strolling through the city.
❽Roadside Station Towada "Towada Pia"
There is a direct sales produce corner selling local agricultural and livestock products and processed goods, as well as a specialty products corner.
It also features workshops where visitors can enjoy a hands-on experience of the traditional craft of Nanbu Sakiori (traditional recycle weaving). It is an excellent leisure spot where visitors can enjoy shopping, dining, and other hands-on activities.
