Mt. Inunaki Onsen

This is a natural hot spring that gushes forth at Mt. Inunaki, famed as a site of Shugendo mountain ascetic training. Known as a “beauty spring” for how it can make the skin clear and moist, this remote, hidden site is also the only hot spring village in Osaka Prefecture. Just 30 minutes by car from Kansai International Airport, it is also considered by some “the closest onsen to the world.”
