Flavor description and other data
This sake is named after the scenery viewed from the sake brewery. This sake initially gives a gorgeous scent, and this sweet and fresh scent stays fully in your mouth. Then, the sharp taste that comes afterward is reminiscent of a sekirei, which is a wagtail, a songbird living around the brewery, flying this way in a straight line. Using a wine glass makes it easier to perceive the combination of the gorgeous scent and sharp taste. This sake pairs well with Japanese food and also French and Italian fish cuisine.

Brewer
The brewery is along the Imazu River, which is a tributary of the Nishiki River, a well-known clear river of Yamaguchi prefecture. A gangi is a terraced landing place that was established on the bank of the river that was used for unloading a wide range of things including rice, the main raw material of sake. The Gangi brand, named after the landing place, is a new brand that was started in 2000. All Gangi is made from only rice and koji (rice with a special mold grown onto it) and is not charcoal filtered. The Gangi line-up brewed by young staff under the supervision of the master brewer, who is also the owner, is gorgeously aromatic and provides an impressive and fully fresh feeling in your mouth. Gangi presents a culmination of modern styles that is appealing to modern tastes.
