Spreading through the center of the Yamato Kogen highlands, Tsuge is most suitable for growing highland vegetables and tea as its cool climate is located at an average elevation of approximately 470 meters.
Furthermore, the Hayama Area is known as the southernmost area in which lily of the valley grows.
The Daimokudate Folk Recitation that takes place every year on October 12 has been designated as UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.
At Roadside Station Hari Terrace, you can purchase agricultural products and specialties. There are other joint facilities such as hot springs and a strawberry farm for tourists.
