Saidaiji Temple - Aizendo Hall

This hall enshrines the Aizen Myō-ō (Ragaraja), a Buddhist image hidden from public view. This is a unique structure that used to be a noble residence with a Shinden-zukuri style external appearance, and was later turned into a Buddhist temple. It is considered to be one of Nara’s Designated Cultural Properties. ※Public Exhibition of the Aizen Myō-ō hidden image: January 15th to February 4th, October 25th to November 15th.
