Category:

The World Heritage of Kasugayama Primeval Forest draws a beautiful line in the east mountain range of Nara city, standing 498 meters high and of about 250 hectares in area. As it has been held as a sacred mountain for Kasuga Taisha Shrine from ancient times, it preserves its primitiveness by being proactively protected.
