How to Ride the Enoden Bus

This is the “board through the center door, exit from the front door, pay after” system.

1.When the bus arrives

Check the destination displayed on the front of the bus. The center door opens.

When boarding, either receive a numbered ticket, or swipe your PASMO or Suica card.

① Represents the final destination.

② Board from the center door.

③ The front door is only for exiting.

④ If you have PASMO or Suica card ,swipe it.

⑤ If you want to pay in cash, take a numbered ticket.

※ Some buses are "pay in advance, get on the front door, get off the middle door" method. Please let the driver know which bus stop you will be getting off at when boarding, and pay the fare.

2. When approaching the bus stop where you want to get off

The name of the bus stop is announced on the bus’s PA system and is also displayed on the fare display panel at the front of the bus. Check the number of your numbered ticket against the fare display panel and prepare your fare.

When paying with cash and a numbered ticket, change will be given (5,000 yen bills and 10,000 yen bills cannot be used).

When your stop is announced, push one of the“disembark buttons”. Disembark buttons are located by the windows, on handrails, etc.

⑥ The name of the bus stop is announced on the bus’s PA system and is also displayed on the information display panel at the front of the bus.

⑦ Check the number of your numbered ticket against the fare display panel and prepare your fare.

3.When your stop approaches

The exit is the front door. Please leave your seat after the bus stops.

Please insert your numbered ticket and the fare in the fare box located next to the conductor.

If paying with PASMO or Suica, swipe your IC card.
