Amagasaki City has large rivers such as the Muko River and the Inagawa River, and is an area prone to flooding and other water damage. Heavy rain and typhoons are particularly frequent from June to October. Take this opportunity to review your own disaster prevention measures and prepare for disasters.
Notification of evacuation timing based on "alert level"
When the risk of a disaster increases, evacuation information and other information will be issued in stages using alert levels. Please be aware of the meaning of each level in advance and take evacuation actions according to the level.
▷ Alert levels 1 and 2: Check your own evacuation procedures ▷ Alert level 3: People who need time to evacuate and their supporters should evacuate from dangerous areas ▷ Alert level 4: Evacuate everyone from dangerous areas ▷ Alert level 5: Disaster occurs. Immediately secure safety as life is in danger
Make your own "My Evacuation Card"
My Evacuation Card is a card that you can use to prepare for a disaster by thinking about "when," "where," and "how" you will evacuate. You can download a template from the website.
Use hazard maps
The city publishes hazard maps on its website that show the expected level of damage in the event of flooding due to heavy rain or a tsunami due to an earthquake in your area, as well as the locations of evacuation sites designated by the city.
