The closing time for reception desks in Amagasaki City is the same as the standard end of work for city employees, so overtime work is assumed. Since approximately 98% of visitors to the Citizens' Affairs Division arrive by 5:00 PM, starting January 5th of next year, reception desks at City Hall Main Office and other locations will close at 5:00 PM. By improving the working environment for employees, we will use the time saved to promote improved citizen services. Furthermore, starting April 1st of next year, the closing time for telephone reception will also change to 5:00 PM. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
◆Facilities where the closing times for counter reception will be changed: City Hall Main Office, North and South Health and Welfare Center, each service center, health center, City Animal Welfare Center, Hygiene Research Institute, Child Development Support Center, Education and Disability Welfare Center, City Government Information Center, Waterworks and Sewerage Building, and each department of the Fire Department.

Nationwide rice coupons worth 2,200 yen (five coupons worth 440 yen each) were sent out by the end of October per household. If you have not received your coupon yet, please check the storage period printed on the missed delivery notice that was sent to you and follow the steps below.
◆If the item is still in storage , please pick it up at the post office or arrange for redelivery within the specified period, using the method indicated on the delivery notice.
◆If the storage period has expired or you do not have a notice of absence and are unsure of the storage period, please contact the Price Rise Countermeasures Life Support Project Secretariat by November 25th. We will process the re-shipment of the voucher. You cannot specify a date and time. Also, it will take some time for the voucher to arrive after the re-shipment process.
Beware of suspicious phone calls, etc. Please be aware that Amagasaki City will not make phone calls to direct you to banks or ATMs regarding the distribution of these coupons.
▷ Demonstration operation of AI on-demand transportation " mobi "

A demonstration run of the AI on-demand transportation service "mobi" will be conducted in the Sonoda area from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from November 1st to December 26th.
This reservation-based transportation service uses AI to optimally allocate vehicles, and passengers can get on and off at approximately 70 locations. If another reservation is made while you are on board, you will be carpooled.
The demonstration run will feature one vehicle with a seating capacity of five people. It can be used by phone or via a dedicated smartphone app. To apply by phone, please call mobi customer support at ☎️ 0 5 0 – 2 0 1 8 – 0 1 0 7. After receiving an automated voice message, you will be connected to an operator.
The cost per session is 500 yen for junior high school students and above, and 250 yen for elementary school students and below.
The price of the Hanshin Bus common digital one-day pass is 1,200 yen for junior high school students and above, and 600 yen for elementary school students and below.
Up to two preschool children per passenger may travel free of charge.
An information session will be held to explain how to make a reservation.
From November 14th to 16th, from 10am to 5pm (1pm to 9pm on the 14th), Bunkyodo Sonoda store will be holding a session to explain how to make mobi reservations and download the app.

Holding a workshop
The event will be held on Sunday, November 30th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Sonoda Higashi Lifelong Learning Plaza, with the theme "Thinking about local public transportation."

Regarding the educational background required for each exam category, applicants must have graduated from a school stipulated by the School Education Act or a school recognized as equivalent. The exam content varies depending on the exam category. The exam categories and the number of positions expected to be hired are as follows:

Opening of the Amagasaki City Hall
A one-day internship will be held at Tachibana Minami Lifelong Learning Plaza and Child Development Support Center on Friday, November 20th from 8:50 a.m. to noon and 1:50 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with tours of each facility and an information session by Amagasaki city officials on the job content.

Tsunami evacuation drill conducted in Hyogo Prefecture
Starting at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 5th, this drill will be conducted using emergency alert emails (area emails), outdoor loudspeakers, individual household receivers, and other methods, assuming a major earthquake in the Nankai Trough. Disaster information will be sent, so please take action as needed at the time and place, such as conducting a shakeout drill to ensure your safety on the spot. Please note that emergency alert emails are sent by each mobile phone company, and all mobile phones will ring at once, even if they are on silent mode. Please be careful not to mistake this for an actual disaster.
Nationwide simultaneous information transmission training for the J-ALERT nationwide instantaneous warning system
A training broadcast will be made via the disaster prevention administrative radio system from outdoor loudspeakers and other locations around the city at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12. The nationwide instantaneous warning system transmits information requiring immediate action, such as tsunami information and earthquake early warnings, to citizens.

On Friday, January 29th and Friday, February 12th next year, from 1:30pm to 3pm, the Child Development Support Center will hold small group activities with rules for children who are anxious about group life at school as they approach entering elementary school. Support from specialist staff will also be provided.
Eligible: Children and guardians who live in the city and were born between April 2, 2019 and April 1, 2020. Number of pairs selected by lottery: 8 pairs. On Sunday, November 9th, from 9:30am to 2pm, there will be an event around the city hall, including the "Amaya Vegetable Grand Prix" vegetable competition, a sale of the exhibited vegetables, sales of food and plants made from amaya vegetables produced by certified farmers, traditional vegetables such as Amaya potatoes and Tano taro, stalls promoting local consumption of amaya vegetables, a stamp rally where you can win rice and vegetables, and a bazaar.
