It is said to have originated in England in the 15th century.

Court and Equipment

It uses an elongated rod called a cue and a disk called a disc.

The rules of the game

Teams use rock-paper-scissors to determine who goes first or next. The first uses colored discs (yellow or red), and the next does black discs. The four discs each (colored or black) are alternately arranged inside the 10-off area.

Going for the court on the other side, Yellow or red shoots one disc, then Black shoots next.In this way, one frame has been played by shooting the four discs each. Next frame start from the opposite court.

Only the discs that are completely inside the triangular area of 10 points, 8 points, 7 points, and minus 10 points (next toOFFarea) will be scored.

Disc as shown in this picture becomes a dead disc, which must be removed immediately from the court. You do not need to remove disc on the diagram line. In that case, the score is 0 points.

The serving player will drop the ball from the height of 60 cm or less to the back side of the server-side baseline, make it bounce once at that position, then hit it with a racket so that it lands within the opposite diagonal court.

A player or team who gets 4 points first becomes the winner of that game.

The service will be performed by a fixed person until the end of one game, and will be replaced by the opponent (replaced every game).

Pétanque

A game throwing a metal ball towards a small, wooden target ball called But, and try to get closest to the target and competing for the total score. It is said to have been invented in France in 1907.

Court and Equipment

We use small wooden balls called butts and iron balls.

The rules of the game

Teams use rock-paper-scissors to determine who has the right to throw a But. One of the teams who got the right decides the starting position and draws a circle with a diameter of about 50 cm. Stand within the circle and throw the But from there. If it is 6 meters or less to 10 meters or more, throw it again. If you fail 3 times, the right will be transferred to the other team.

One of the first team throws the ball from within the circle, going for near But, and one of the other team continues to throw.

The team that did not take any point (the team far from the But) keeps throwing until it takes a point.

*In this case, if one team finishes throwing all of their balls, the other team throws all of their remaining balls.

When there is your own ball(s) closer to the But than any ball of your opponent's team, you will get the points as many as the closer balls.

Count the score at the end of a mène (set).

Mène: The time from throwing the But to start a game until the last ball is thrown.

After the second mène, a circle (35 cm to 50 cm in diameter) will be drawn around the position of the But at the end of the mène.

After that, you will continue to play the game until either team gets 13 points at first.

How to throw the ball

Lightly bend your knees or squat to throw the ball in the air by swinging the arm from back to bottom, from bottom to front (up to around 2 meters high).
