Diorama①:Early Nebuta Festival in around 1920. Because of the bamboo structure and candles inside, a few people could carry a float. Dancers’ calling out “Rassera Rassera” is said to be derived from a word Dase Dase which means give more candles and drinks in order to continue the parade.
Diorama②:A modern festival parade. One group is consisted of board members of a sponsored company, dancers, a float, and music band. 22 groups make a circle and parade down 3.1km course in 2 hours. Sometimes more than 2,000 dancers and 100 members in one music band organize one group.
