Baby visit (newborn visit)

Once your baby is born, please first send in the "Birth Notification Form" found in the "Mother and Child Health Bag" (you can also do this from your smartphone). A midwife or public health nurse will then visit your home to measure your baby's weight and provide childcare advice.

We will give your newborn baby an injection to prevent illness. When it's time for the injection, we will send you a pre-vaccination questionnaire. If you have the questionnaire, the vaccination will be free of charge.
