Chishimazasa (Sasa kurilensis)

The leaves of chishimazasa are narrower, and its stems branch densely toward the top. It also lacks the fuzzy hair that can be seen on kumaizasa.

Chishimazasa (literally, Chishima broadleaf bamboo) is also called nemagaridake (bent-root bamboo).
