Here one can find the old residence of the Uesugi clan of the Yonezawa domain,as well as the remains of Yonezawa Castle.In the park,there is the Uesugi Shrine,which is dedicated to Kenshin Uesugi,and the treasure hall,the Uesugi Shrine Museum.You can also find bronze statues of Kenshin Uesugi and Yozan Uesugi.This place is famous for having many cherry blossom trees in the prefecture.
