Tama is perhaps the first cat station master in the whole world – she is so cute that she has drawn attention from all across the globe! Tama is the master of Kishi Station, a private railroad station shaped like a cat’s face. The cafe at the station serves delicious juice and desserts made from locally grown fruit. Visitors can also purchase goods featuring Tama at the shop next to the cafe, and then ride one of the popular trains modeled after Tama, including Omocha (toy) and Ichigo (strawberry), that depart from JR Wakayama Station.

Note: There is no parking available at Kishi Station, so please come by train.
